  • AICUF Training Programme at Hassan

    St Joseph's Pre-University Evening College received an invitation from the AICUF team, welcoming the unit's AICUF Animator and 5 student leaders to a Leadership Program which was held in St Joseph's College, Hassan.
    The AICUF Leadership Program at Hassan, held from 30th and 31st August 2024, was a remarkable event that commemorated the centenary year of AICUF. Five students from the student council of SJPUEC,

    The mentioned students accompanied by Animator Mr. Victor Antony, attended the program, which aimed to empower young leaders and foster a sense of community and social responsibility.
    The journey began from Majestic, Bangalore on 29th of August and the group reached Hassan on the evening of the same day.
    Program Highlights:
    Day 1 (August 30):
    - Introduction to the Origin of AICUF: Participants learned about the history and evolution of AICUF.
    - Team Building and Collaboration: Exercises encouraged unity and cooperation among participants.
    - Group Discussion Session-1: Students shared perspectives on social issues.
    - Cultural Night: Participants showcased their talents, in various cultural activities.
    Day 2 (August 31):
    - Effective Communication: The importance of clear expression and active listening was emphasised.
    - Discovering Myself: Students explored their strengths, weaknesses, and passions.
    - Group Discussion Session-2: Participants delved deeper into social concerns, developing critical thinking and solutions.
    - Valedictory: Mr. Victor Antony was felicitated as a dignitary, and Ms Hency led the emceeing of the program.
    Achievements:
    - Active participation of SJPUEC students in all activities.

    - Receipt of certificates by participants.
