Vision

  • Jesuit education draws its inspiration from the life and teachings of Jesus Christ and the institutional character is based on the principles of formation elaborated upon by St. Ignatius of Loyola.
"St. Joseph’s PU Evening college is a nurturing ground for an individual’s holistic development to make effective contribution to the society in a dynamic environment".
At St. Joseph’s Pre-University Evening College, our educational objective is to prepare men and women for the service of others, specially the poor and the oppressed. During your stay in the College, you will be provided with many opportunities to critically understand the society and its structures so that your education would assist you in working for a humane and just society. Stress will be laid on academic excellence, character formation and social concern. The vision and principles give Jesuit institutions their unique character and invite the staff and students to strive to live up to them.
